Visit us and paddle the ancient waters of Barkley Sound, BC, where time and place stand still. The Secret Beach Campground and Kayak Launch is located in the heart of Toquaht Nation traditional territory, where the Toquaht people have lived and thrived for over 10,000 years.

Camping is available to extend your stay in this breathtaking place, and we invite you to visit Toquaht territory for an experience you will never forget.

Located 45mins from Ucluelet and 1 hour from Tofino, Secret Beach is a great place to get away from the crowds, while being close enough to enjoy all this area has to offer.

Bring the kids! We have a world class playground, paved pump track for all things with wheels and a covered gym area!

• Drinking water is now available on site.

• Power will be connected for the 2026 season with new washroom and shower facilities

• Wi-Fi is available at the office during the hours of 9am - 9pm.

• FYI- we have two offices: First office is for tent platforms and kayak launch only! Campground and marina is .5km past the kayak launch office.

• Our Kayak Launch office is now open from 9am until 6pm.

• OUR TENT PLATFORMS ARE NOW OPEN! - The kayak launch tent pads are open for bookings!

• 32’ Moorage slips are available for vessels

• Parking for Water Taxi/Lodges & Trucks and Trailers @ Marina check in at the campground/marina office

• Parking for Kayak Launch @ the Kayak Launch, check in at the new office.

• Bookings for 2026 open February 1st, 2026

Check-in information

Campground is operational from May 15, 2025 - Sept 30, 2025.

Reservations online are recommended to secure the available spaces.

We do take walk in bookings, however it is subject to availability.

No drop ins after 8:00pm. Gate closes at 10:00pm.
Campsite attendant is located on site near gate.
